This is truly "eating to live" instead of "living to eatFrom a reader whose cravings are under control:
"This is truly "eating to live" instead of "living to eat". I was telling my husband that I just am not thinking about food that much. It used to be such a part of my life... craving things. Now, when meal time comes around it's like, okay I have to eat my meal now for my sustanance instead of dying to dig in. The only time during the day I actually feel hungry and could see myself eating a lot (if I allowed myself) is the afternoon. The snack in the afternoon is a lifesaver for me. And even though right after it I feel like I could eat 5 times as much, I just tell myself to wait 30 minutes, and I'll feel completely differently about it...and I do! It's amazing. It's like the neatest science experiment to me!
"Anyway, it's so nice to be feeling like I'm eating to live, instead of my cravings taking over my life!"

"This just can't be for real!!!"From a reader on our community forum who learned about "The Serotonin Power Diet" from a February 25th article that appeared in First for women magazine:
"OK, this just can't be for real!!! Thirteen pounds in fourteen days.............I'm loving the desire to exercise and can't wait to see what these next two weeks bring. I agree that the scale is just one measure.....but when I read all of your success stories and agree that the extra energy and positive attitudes are consistent with what I'm finding, I don't think I'll ever go off this plan!! I have only enough knowledge from the two-page spread in First magazine, but have just bought the book and can't wait to find out more! Glad to be in your club!"

"Thank you, thank you, thank you"From a reader:
"I also would like to say thank you for this plan. I have never felt this mellow before. When things get to me I usually blow up and rant and rave for about 5 minutes then it blows over. Now, I just get mildly annoyed and do what I can to remedy the situtation. If nothing can be done, then nothing can be done! I just can't believe it. This is almost as important to me as the weight loss, which has been great. My husband and I have both lost 6 pounds and he said it was the easiest 6 pounds he ever lost. He just eats what I put in front of him when I put it in front of him, so he has the easy part. But he's not eating that bag of chips ever day, either! Your mentoring and answering every post that needs answering is so great, not to be found on other sites. That makes a huge difference. Anyway, our thanks also."

I have not felt hungry one single day since I startedFrom a serial dieter now on The Serotonin Power Diet:
"I have not felt hungry one single day since I started, and I know I'm eating less calories than I was before (definitely less fat & sugar). Three smaller meals and the three snacks are really making a difference. The first few days I quickly realized how much I eat out of boredom (I spend most of the day online job hunting), habit (in front of the TV) and for comfort (to sooth depression). Actually, tonight I felt overfull though I measured my dinner of penne pasta, chopped tomatoes, mushrooms and peas & greenbeans thrown in. I also almost forgot to eat lunch! This is all amazing to me. ...no hunger pains here!"

This program is a miracleFrom a reader who has lost 20 pounds in 3 months:
"You will be thrilled at the results...both physically and mentally. This program does exactly what it promises and, even at first glance of the book, it may seem a bit confusing, it gets real easy, real quickly! You will see and feel results almost immediately, in the way you feel, react, lack of cravings, lots of energy, restful sleep. I have been on the program since mid November. I have had a history or weight fluctuations, eating disorders as a teen, cravings, sore joints, etc...and now I feel great! I have never antidepressants, but have suffered from mild depression. This program is a miracle."

"I have had an amazing response"From a reader who posted on our community forum:
"I'm only starting my second week, but I have had an amazing response.
I was on antidepressants for 3 years, off 4, crashed and now on about a year.
I have gone through the lowest of my depression in the last 4 months.
I felt better by day 3 -- amazingly better. The weight loss is just a fringe benefit
to the wonderful hope I have received since I started this food plan.
I'm willing to tell anybody how wonderful I feel!!!"

"YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED ON THIS "DIET"
Yes, it does seem too good to be true doesn't it?
I haven't felt so wonderful in years
(and I'm still going through enough to be depressed)"
